Trevor F. Lauer
President and Chief Operating Officer
DTE Electric

Trevor F. Lauer is president and chief operating officer of DTE Electric, an electric utility serving 2.2 million customers in Southeastern Michigan. Lauer joined DTE Energy in 2005 and earned a bachelor of science degree from Pennsylvania State University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Maryland. Lauer is active in the community and serves on several boards. He is a member of the Executive Committee for the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce and a trustee for the Cranbrook Educational Community and the board chair of the Cranbrook Institute of Science. He is also a board member for the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit.
